Another leftie!

This is a Beatles song, written and sung by John.  It appeared on Rubber Soul, which to me was the turning point album for Beatles music.  This is a song about an encounter John had with someone.

Radar Love was favourite bar band music back in the day.

Sticking with Rubber Soul for another song.  This one is by Paul and it has an interesting ending.

Paul is still playing and singing, but I think his voice is a shell of what it once was.

I heard this band is out touring again.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmfQQC1bsf4

I think John Kay had a singing voice that was perfectly suited to rock music.

Perhaps the most under rated Beatle was Ringo.  He simply sat at the back of the band and kept perfect time for the others.  He always had one song on each album, but the song had to be chosen carefully to match Ringo's limited vocal range.  This is perhaps his most famous song as a Beatle, where he plays Billy Shears.

John, Paul and Ringo.  There was one other Beatle....George.  Early on he was dubbed the quiet one.  He played guitar and sang harmony.  But as time went on he began to write songs, eventually writing some of the best Beatles tunes.  After they broke up he released many of his own albums, and was a pioneer in holding benefit concerts with his concert for Bangladesh.  He teamed up with Roy Orbison, Jeff Lynne, Tom Petty and Bob Dylan to release an album of songs mostly written by George.  This is one of them.

This guy was big in the '70's.  He's still around but I haven't heard anything new for years.

All the great songs have a distinguishing riff.  This is one of the best.

I didn't like this band back in the day.  But I've since learned to appreciate this song.

This song has some really clean guitar work.  It was a characteristic of most of the band's work.

This 70's song was a big hit for the band and was also used in a movie.  Great band...still going.

My girl likes to drink whiskey
My girl likes to drink wine
My girl likes to drink beer and scotch
Bourbon and moonshine
Yes, I love my baby
But she's drunk al the time.
