My wife, 7 months pregnant, and hanging out with me in the shop and getting her hands dirty helping pull the forks and change the oil on my Triumph. Afterwards, we flew our remote control helicopter.
She's so cool. I love her!

Glad to see I'm not the only one with a wife who likes to help out in the shop. Now, once that kids born ya gotta get him/her out there as well.

Ok.... Got the Kawasaki out for a blast today! Had a little initial problem with it running on 2 cylinders just off idle, but seem to have cured that by refueling, this time with premium. Might have been slightly stale gas, even though I did store it with gas preserver for the winter. Seems fine now though!! Good to be riding again!

The gasoline nowadays goes stale in as little as 3 months.....gas preserver helps a bit, but won't prevent a bit of smung clogging the tiny orifices (orifi?) in the carbs. If you can, when you winterize, run the bike some with the preserved gas, then disconnect the fuel line and run the bike until dry. Then drain the bowls. Not perfect, but may keep the carbs usable come spring.

Pulled the engine forward and replaced the ignition pulsers in the CX650.
Hopefully this is the last time I need to pull that engine out for a while.

Finished up installing the new ignition pickups in the CX650 Eurotrash.
Took it for a good ride, what a difference, they must have been marginal for a long time.

Insured the police/rat bike today and scrubbed in some new tires. Changed to tubeless in the interest of repair at road side.
