I submitted an online application for a Collector plate for my 1983 CB1100F and received a confirmation email that they received the app. on last Monday. I got a phone call from my ICBC agent that it's approved today. Amazing!  Cliff.

Sooner in the New Year, the quicker the Approval.  I've had similar quick responses on a few occasions but some that I submitted in early summer took about 3 months.  Staff holidays I guess, and the "EXPERTS" were out riding their bikes?

Early last summer I got mine for my CB750.  Took five days.  I spoke o the phone with the fellow at ICBC in North Van.  He said, going forward, they were planning on a week or less turn.

Dropped off 3 applications for collector plates on Friday , got a call to pick up plates today. that is on the 3rd working day. very fast.

HMMMM.  I had a 98 Trophy 900.  Nice bike, but sitting under a tarp and very neglected in a nearby yard after the guy I sold it to, sold it to another, who did NOTHING with it for perhaps 8-10 years.  A few feet away is another Triumph, Adventurer model, perhaps a few years older.  Also under a tarp.   The current owner is now in a care home and Lord knows what will happen to those bikes, along with the Concours with a sidecar, and several Gold wings with chairs. I have photos of the machines if anyone is interested, but haven't been able to send photos on this site for some time now.  Technology and I are not the best of friends.
