  The ownership of this machine, now 10 years, has been one of almost 2 thumbs up, except for the unhappy marriage of the CV Keihen 42m carb. Factory extreme lean settings for EPA mandates have really hampered many non EFI bikes, and this old dinosaur is one of the worst. Cold and hot starting has been a PITA. I finally got around to installing Dynojet's Stage 1 kit, meant for stock engine, stock exhaust, and K&N/UNI air filter. 

 The startup, after 6 months, is now instant. Cold idle, after 30 seconds. I know it's early, and I don't think I'm going to throw insurance on it to test it now, but gosh, it really caught me off guard how easy it started.
 Maybe i'll throw it in the truck, drive to Death Valley and do a test!
