Easy cure.  Move to the Kamloops area.  Annual rainfall in the 10 inch range, and only 2 feet of snow most years.

I think it's the news media driving alarm over climate change with new nomenclature like this.

Climate is defined as the average of weather, usually taken over a 30 year time period.  What we are seeing is an increase in the average along with greater variability.  Said another way....higher highs and lower lows, bigger floods and longer droughts....etc.  If you were to count the number of days the temperature exceeded say..30 deg in a 30 yr period in the past and compared that number to the last 30 years you would find the number for the last 30 years to be considerably higher.  This is a measure of climate change.

The South East Asians know how to cope with RAIN on an almost daily basis.  They simply put a roof over their Rickshaws.  Knowing this bunch of hot Roding old farts, the roof wouldn't last a block.
