Huh, 0W8 oil

I just heard that the oil specified for the 2025 Toyota Camry (and most probably other vehicles as well) is 0W8. Huh.

In the name of fuel efficiency through reduced rotating friction, and,,,, important use in hybrids in which the gas engine rarely gets up to full normal operating temperature for a gasoline engine.
I wouldn’t use 0W8 oil in my Norton, full on Ebola and Exxon Valdez evacuations would result.
