Long time Canadian Moto Journalist  Max Burns has passed away.

I had a unique interaction with this fellow, minimal but interesting. He interacted with an old friend of mine who was a dispatch rider for the British Army in WW2, as part of his great book, Winged Wheelpatch.  Hearing of his loss is bringing back a bunch of great memories.

Max was a unique individual, with a Quirky sense of humour. Always liked his writings.  A friend of mine from back east once rode a lengthy trip with Max, and they were on min-bikes, of some sort.
