No, it’s not mine.
A couple observations.
It’s located in Whitehorse.
It’s got a replacement frame from a 1200 Mirage. So it has a ‘history’ . That will surely affect the price negatively.

One day left , not much action. “Laverdisti” worldwide see the frame change probably in England. Matching frame/engine is quite important.

The last 4 minutes were interesting, jumped 75% to. Bid of $11,859US, reserve not met.
It’s actually kind of rough around the edges, and a non matching frame, I can see the reluctance.

Lots of classic car and motorcycle owners are in a state of denial regarding the “real” value of their bike or car. The market is currently very soft with some categories /brands doing better or worse than others. Much of it is the aging demographic. Your average Vincent owner is probably well into his 70’s and as result Vincent’s are a tough sell.
I like Laverdas and actually have some interest in the one listed but they would need half that number to get me to the table. Both my adult sons are motorcycle guys with substantial financial wherewithal but probably wouldn’t cross the street to look at that bike. It’s just not their era. Just because we think our pride and joys are worth $##### doesn’t make it so. There is an old oil patch saying that applies here “Wish in one hand and S#*t in the other and see which hand fills up first”. Lol. I didn’t buy any of my bikes as an investment so I don’t sweat the ups or downs.
It’s a weird market out there though and Bring a Trailer highlights it from time to time with super high prices for the most mundane trucks, mini bikes etc.

The aging demographic is a huge factor in motorcycle sales in general, and classic motorcycles specifically. I had a quick chat with a local Vincent owner last week, who admitted outright that Vincent values are dropping. A quick look at a Vincent gathering observed shows pure white hair. That's 1960's kids who longed for high status 1950's motorcycles, who are able to afford one now. 1970's classics running high now are the result of kids of those days now affording their childhood dreams. The same thing will happen with noteworthy 1980's, 1990's machines. Heck, why do you think you can buy mint Ford Model T's now? Cause the guys who wanted them are all dead.
I consider what's going on to be a generational shift rather than just age. I've said it before, younger generations are more into " virtual" experiences realized from their computer screen. Digital games rather than street hockey. Heck, minor hockey numbers are falling dramatically. It's all part of the shift to a soft, weak, low testosterone human population. Motorcycle operation in 'the west' will return to it's 1950's stereotype of outlaw social unacceptance.
