Observations,,,,,
First I’ll say I’ve seen the quality of your restorations, Ross, and they are high quality. You do everything correct, and the bikes look great.
Second I’ll say that the 750K series from the first ‘69 sand cast through the small tank series, have progressively had their turn appreciating in value. Buying a ‘75 was a good move I think, as it’s about to have its turn in collector buyer attention. Buying a ‘70 - ‘72 now generally,,,,,will be an expensive entry point.
The CB I have is basically a resurrection. All I’ve done is disassemble (except for taking out the motor) and clean it up. Doing the maintenance stuff as needed. And paint of course. But ya, it’s a pretty nice set of wheels.
Got the tank back from paint today. He wants me to wait until next week before installing the trim, badges, and filler cap. There’s quite a few coats of clear on it and still a bit soft. Don’t want to risk finger or cloth imprints.
