Once again, we are holding the Peachland Classic Bike Show, Sept. 3, 2023, on the waterfront in downtown Peachland, BC.

Free admission for those folks looking and admiring.  If you wish to display your pride and joy, the entrance fee is $20 per owner, as many bikes as you want.

As usual, Boris and Peggy are offering space only (no electrical, water or sewage hookups) for those who may  intend on coming up here the previous day with their RV, or a place to park a trailer used to haul the display items to the show from out of town.   Contact Boris directly at 250-859-1985 if you intend on taking advantage of this very generous offer.

Show starts at 10am, with load in any time after "dawn".  T-Shirts celebrating this great event will be offered for sale on site.

Expect to be outdoors in the sun, and to have a good time.

Last year's event was very well attended.  We had to park about a half mile away, but for $20 you can park right in the display area!

Sweetums and I went down on the Goldwing with our dogs.  I met some new people and saw some great bikes.  Memory isn't strong, but there might have been a few rain drops.

I attended the show but did not take pictures.
The outdoor show was well presented with Lake Okanagan and the lake shore scenery along the main road through Peachland serving as the stage.
Weather was next to perfect with only a light shower towards the end of the show, not too cool and not too hot.
The number of motorcycles on display at the show was 37 with probably another 20 or so at any given time parked along the street belonging to people who rode in to look at the displayed motorcycles.
There was a good mix of various displacement machines, from mini bikes to big bore street machines.  Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki, BMW, Harley Davidson, Indian, Sunbeam,
Moto Guzzi, Greeves, Triumph, Norton are all names I recall seeing - I'm sure there were others I missed.

I was told previous shows had a few more motorcycles on display, but when taking into consideration that Hwy 97 to the south was/is closed due to a rock slide, and the devastation and disruption caused by the McDougall Creek wild fire is still ongoing,
this event in its entirety was a remarkable achievement.
This was the first time I attended this show which is typically held on the Labour Day weekend.  I thought it was well organized and presented exceptionally well to the public - well done to Boris and all who assembled the event.  It was a success!

As a bonus, I was able to meet up with some people I hadn't spoken to in too long of a time.  Even had a chance to catch up with Dale from Chilliwack!
Good times!
