Not a motorcycle event as such, but very much a celebration of the internal combustion engine, and steam power. A fascinating event!!

50th anniversary of the Puget Sound Antique Machinery Show, August 3-6/2022, Lynden, WA. Berthusen Park, 3 miles south of the Aldergrove Border crossing.

Yes, a very good show and have not been there in years. I will have to put that one on my calendar.

Heading off to the coast tomorrow and will be in Lynden Saturday for the show. Anyone else Joe and I should expect to see?
This will be fun.

I'll be at the Lynden Classic Bike event for sure! If my Norton allows me to get there LOLOLOL. Still not 100% sure which crossing I'll go to, probably Pacific truck crossing as it's Nexus lane is operational. Too bad Lynden Nexus southbound is still temporarily not open. The southbound lanes at Lynden are nicely downhill, whereas the Pacific lanes have an uphill "push" the last 125'. Be nice to meet you guys,,,,I've never met any club members from outside Metro Van.

Was that your lovely Voyager? I think it was, there's none cleaner. I recognized 1/2 dozen bikes from people I know.
The show was a decent little effort, about 1/2 the size of a normal Cloverdale. happy people glad to get out and check stuff out. Most of the 10 Nortons in the inside display were kinda scruffy, a couple real nice Commando's. 3 Commando's parked outside. As is always the case when the weather is nice like today, the show outside was way better. About 20% Cdn license plates.
Probably the nicest customs officers I've ever experienced today, the U.S. and Cdn. officers. I think the mild sunshine positively affected them as well, just happy. The U.S. lady officer was very much easy on the eyes, didn't even ask where I was going, just wished me a nice ride.

Oh, and my olde English thing is running better than it has in 20 years. Super grin factor. Even confirmed that ethanol free 89 is still available across the street from the NAPA, $5.29 a gallon, separate nozzle.

I ran into a few people I had not seen in a while. Although smallish the show was pretty well done and I picked up some decent items as well. Some very nice bikes outside I agree.

In 2018 while fishing on the Columbia River for salmon, through the day I kept seeing vintage motorcycles travelling down the Gorge towards Portland.  Some of the riders were wearing vintage leather outfits.  Some were only going 30-40mph.  Hendersons, Harleys, Indians.  Upon going home and looking it up I discovered it was the Cannonball Run.  This event will take place again in 2023.

If you're interested speak with Dale, formerly of Power Sports.  Last time I checked he had about twenty-five (yes, 25) of them and was selling.
