WOO HOO!!

I just finished installing MC Cruise cruise control on my Tracer900.  Really nice unit.  A bit of effort, but everything fit and installed as advertised.  Basically plug and play (have to do some re-wiring of some of the stock harness).  The supplied instructions are excellent.  Once the install is complete, calibration and system checks are required, and the instructions are excellent once again.

It took me most of the day to install yesterday.  It’s the first time I’ve removed all the cladding and the fuel tank.  And a couple hours today to do the calibration and diagnostics.

I don’t anticipate any issues, but I’ll wait for a dryer day to test it out.  And I’ll try to pick a road where I can be rescued by Bob with his trailer should it be necessary.

I have cruise control on my Goldwing but the switch is broken.  It would be nice to get it working again this year.

Took the MTT09 for a short spin to test the cruise control.  Works as it should.  I’m well pleased.  Can’t wait to go for a trip.

It's just great when projects work out as planned.  It'll come in handy on your extended trips.
Great to see more motorcycle related posts.

Heh heh.  I have an older Garmin that I use as backup for my paper maps.
