Ahh Poco!  This is my favourite song by them.  It's a cover of a Don Gibson song.  Been covered by quite a few others but none so sweetly.

n 2010, Rolling Stone ranked it No. 364 on its "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" list.
It is one of five songs by the band that peaked at the No. 2 spot on the U.S. Billboard chart and didn't get to No. 1.  It was blocked by "Love Theme from Romeo and Juliet" by Henry Mancini.

This guy has been singing for decades.  I wasn't much into his music or his voice but I remember this song being well played on local radio stations when I was in my first year of engineering.

This song came from the 60's and was reprised by the Blues Brothers in their movie, but I like the original version better.  Great emotion and energy in the singing voices.
