November 16th, 1976, Al Stewart released his single "The Year of the Cat".

Although Stewart's highest placed single on the charts was 1978's "Time Passages",[5] "Year of the Cat" has remained Stewart's signature recording, receiving regular airplay today on both classic rock and folk rock stations.

It was a great song from a great group.  I listen to it pretty much every day.

This song was a huuge hit back in the 50's.  It has a lot of energy.  Written and sung by a Canadian who wrote many hits for other singers, including Frank Sinatra.
