This guy is probably the best male singer ever.  Was at the top of his game right into his '80's.

I like how simple the melody is in this song.  I think it captures the essence of who this person truly was.  A simple man with a simple message.

In the mid-eighties, my wife was working for Woodwards, in New West, and the company had a bunch of Sinatra tickets for employees.  Betty asked if I wanted to go, but I said, Phhhh, who'd want to see Frank Sinatra....now, with the fullness of time, it's one of my biggest regrets.

This is another '60s/70's band.  Not your normal rock group.  Maybe a little more sophisticated sound.  This song is a great one if you're a runner.

I wasn't much of a Frank fan for most of my life.  It was only after he was dead that I started listening to his work and realized why he was such a force in the business.  Man what a voice!

Speaking of good running songs...this is a real good one.  The band is still performing...will be going out on tour this summer.

Good pick but when you said Good Morning I immediately thought of this song.

This was one of several songs by this group from the '70s.

Really good stuff Glenn.  I like your musical taste. Grin

This guy is another incredibly talented song writer and singer.  I could pick a half dozen songs of his that you would know well, but this one was the one that I thought best brought out his poetic ability to transmit singing into emotion.

If you like brass that is not Canadian, the Qatar Philharmonic Brass does a nice job with the Theme from Peter Gunn:

Kind of interesting how they start with two musicians and then the rest saunter onstage.

This is an interesting song, sung by the Rolling Stones and by the Beatles.  It was written by Paul McCartney and given to the Rolling Stones to record.  Then the Beatles recorded it.  Both are great versions.
