I remember this half English half French song from the sixties.  I didn't like it then and I don't much like it now.  I only posted it because of the terrible lip sync.

This song brings me back to my first time in university, in 1968.  It was a big hit, and the singer went on to have a great career that continues today.

This is a nice rocker from the 80's.  I vaguely recall the song but don't recall the group.  But a nice catchy name though.  I like the harmonica sound.

This is a sixties group that did what most sixties groups did...they broke up in the midst of their success.  But before that they had a lot of hits.  I remember dancing to this one at our HS dances.

This guy had a great voice and was a bit of a force in the 70's.  The song is a silly one but I liked it back then and still do.

The Juno Music Awards Show is coming this weekend in Vancouver, celebrating the best Canadian music over the last year.  I thought it might be worth playing a few past winners.  This group was popular around the turn of the century and this song won song of the year back then.  I wonder how many takes it took to get through the complicated lyrics.
