This is an Australian song.  It's a lament about the futility of war that plays on Australia's most famous song about a dancing girlfriend.

Here is a band I didn't know was from Oz.  They had some powerful music in the 90's but they were together back in the 70's as the Farris Brothers.

I watched this show on Tubi last night.  I'm not sure if it's a horror or a comedy show.  But the music is good.  The singer died years ago of cancer after recovering from drug addiction.  He was a marvellous song writer.

I was very much into the music of this 70's band back in the day.  They had a mystical quality to their music that is evident in this song.

This song was a #1 hit back in the mid 60's.  The singer has a smooth voice and perfect pitch.  He had several other hits but I like this one best.
