Time to switch.  This song is a well known one by a well known singer who is gone now.  I think he'll live on in blues music for centuries.

We used to sing this song in high school, at around 3 pm when it was time to go home.  The halls would ring with the sound of a thousand students!

In 1978 I spent the entire summer on my motorcycle before heading back to school.  This song was popular and I often sang it while on the road.

It was definitely a Denny Laine song.  He used to sing it after he joined Wings.

This song is about being married but also having a girlfriend who takes care of you.
