I was working at a mine north of Ignace, in NW Ontario when I first heard this song on the radio.  It's a great song from a band that was dysfunctional i internally but who managed to play some great music for a few years.

This song was originally written by Willie Dixon and made popular by Cream, back in the 60's.  This version is a cover that I came across by an interesting Canadian guitar player with a rough sounding voice.

Today's song was one of the most popular to come out of the 70's.  The band was highly successful with a new tune constantly on the charts over a relatively short band life.  The song has an immediately familiar open riff.  A great tune.

In the later 1970's no singer was more well known than this guy.  He had a creative burst for those years and produced a half dozen songs with wonderfully creative lyrics.  This is one of them.
