Long forgotten, and definitely not a running song.  This is a Dorothy Moore cover of the original song but one that was probably more popular.  There is also a country version by Eddie Arnold for those who prefer a country take.

Recently retired, being married for 30 years, fishing for salmon the last 2 months with only 2 trips home to smoke salmon and mow the lawn, this song came on the local radio station.  I realized that I take for granted what a patient and loving wife I have to allow me this freedom along with putting up with my motorcycle collection.
