New sprockets, chain, and cush drive.
How much did you pay for your chain and sprockets in Alberta?

Took the Lemon out for a ride, no bits fell off, the turn signals kept working and I didn't miss a single shift.
Looks like it's getting better.

Shawn you havent owned a Guzzi long enough. I have followed Motolobo and Kiwi Roy on their Guzzies and the key to less wear and tear on the switch gear is to just leave the signal on until you change direction the other way. Much less friction on the switch mechanism. Dont just take my word for it ask Rob and Roy and they can verify.
Thought I better offer my help.

The rear sprocket and cush drive had 47000kms on them. The front sprocket and chain had 20000kms. $220ish for both sprockets, rx chain and cush.

Fired up "Old Blue" and did a long ride to see if my fix of the electrical glitch actually did FIX my problems. Evidently it did, as I've done about 120km yesterday and today, and everything still works. Wonder of wonders, I have a tail light, a head light, and the turn signals work, even the self cancelling feature. Old Blue is STILL ALIVE !!!!

My versys has the same km as yours and I think the chain and sprockets were changed once before but not shure.
I had a tight spot in the chain but the sprockets were not in that bad a shape.
$160 for chain and sprockets from VMS and good quality. Japan not CHINA
Called Banner in Vernon and they wanted $250 just for a chain
Much cheaper then I could get them from the Net

It was 2 degrees this morning.... 'Twas a brisk morning ride...
It got up to 25 today so I'll whine about layers and such.

Still commuting to work every day Surrey to Abbotsford on the Henkel. Flicked the heated grips to low this morning. Turned the retina burning Pella's on so cage drivers see me in the fog.

As seen in my other post regarding Tuesday ride, I did a lovely 475 km ride, but found my old Suzuki is NOT fully alive. Within a few kms of home, Blooey, no turn signals or head or tail light. AGAIN. This is getting beyond ridiculous. Damn good thing it always runs well (different circuits) and gets me home. Back to Square one to try to find the GLITCH. Bear gave me an early Suzuki left handlebar switch. I will try to replace the multi-function stock switch, which is hard wired for the lights, with the older model which has separate on/off switch for the lights, and another for hi/lo beam, and yet another for the turn signals. Going to be interesting trying to figure out which wire does what, and where I should tap into the stock wiring, and I'm just a bit Colour Challenged to make it even more fun...NOT !
