I did a little work on my 650 VStrom, had Michelin Annakee 3 tires installed, I took the rims into the dealer as I didn't want to do any damage to the rims getting the old tires off.

https://www.canadasmotorcycle.ca/michelin-anakee-3-rear-tire.html?gclid=CNfJ-ZKciMcCFYdrfgoddFwKFw

Also installed a new Givi Airflow windshield, should have done this when I got the bike, night and day difference, works very well with my Arai Helmet, very quiet and no buffeting and on the Shoei Hornet it's much better than before but I may just need to try a few more adjustments to get it right.

Is a VStrom a Daul Sport like my Versys?

Yes, Henry, the Versys is Kaw's answer to the Vstrom, which has been voted the best all round bike (the wee strom at least) on several forums and magazine polls.     A friend came back from Tierra del Fuego on  wee strom years ago, bought it brand new and had it shipped there.

They say the Versys are more capable for going off road compared to the VStrom which is not as versatile in the mud or deep sinkholes that our kawis will go threw. Grin

The one bike just doesn't have the good looks and not quite as fast either.

Henry, your Versys is capable of extreme off-road, obviously, but only because it has all wheel drive, judging by the front tire.... Roll Eyes

Tire is kinda big for that bike but it sure footed in the gravel which surprised me for the tire size
