Looks great, Allen, nice color. You going to stripe it somehow? I think that would just finish it nice. Won't be long now, a couple more weeks of this cold stuff and then spring will be here. Get that paperwork in for the collector plates whilst the rest of the biking public is still sleeping. Cheers, Rob.

Allan,   looking good,  always handy to know a painter isn't it Grin

Chris,  if the engine works then everything else should be easy.   Have you thought of maybe powerdercoating or blackchroming those rusty levers that might be a different touch if you are not returning it to stock?  Looks like your bike is in similar condition to Ross's LTD but never too late to save.   Let us know if the engine fires up for you.

I stared the Norton and took it around the block, lofting the front wheel in the air while the back battled for traction on the ice and gravel.  Cool

The rusty Z1 almost started, coughed and backfired, lots of rust blew out of the "open" header collector so the carbs had to come out  Shocked...not good... not giving up yet

That's a good sign Chris,  if its coughing and barking you at least have compression and spark.  I am guessing you will have it running by the weekend.
