Is that the original colour?

Started playing around with the rusty Z1 today, someone prepped it to be parked since '88, besides the tank and petcock being clean the carbs work and when I dropped the oil it was clean and looked like it was just changed, anyway I pulled the points cover off expecting the typical corrosion but the points and plate look new  Shocked looks like it might run  Smiley

I thought about it but it needs steering stem bearings, master cylinder and front brake caliper, chain and sprockets too rusty and sadly I can put my hand inside the collector section of the header  Sad other than that...

What I meant was fix what the it really. Needs to be roadworthy.. Then ride the possible outa it..
Dont have to worry about keeping it clean,  riding in the rain or dirt..just go have fun on it....great bang for the buck..
