Changed the front tire on my Goldwing. What a p.i.t.a.. Almost as much work as the rear.

Ha! These are illegal it turns out. I would be in contravention of the Motor Vehicle Act so they have been removed.
Added some LEDS to the Goldwing in the hopes that I will be more visible. Even on the largest motorcycle out there with a bunch of lights on it, I appear to be invisible to many drivers, maybe the blue ones will get their attention. Cliff.

I've never noticed a difference with mor elights, really. The Norton has no signal lights while my Triumph does. People still take no notice of me turning.
Now, extra and loud horns...that's get's their attention. My Triumph sounds like a 68 Buick Electra.

Well thanks to Justbike's sand and vaporblasting set up, I blasted my Cherry Bomb muffler for the Versys. A quick weld up of some spots and hi-temp paint and she's on the bike. Waiting for the gasket (copper silicone
) to set up then back to the sound I like on the P-Twin.

I got it !!!!!!!!
My bike finally runs nearly perfect.
After a long time, surching for the original Airbox, I found one on Ebay in Japan.
Fixed it today and the bike runs like heaven.
I am a lucky man......

With GREAT enthusiasm and not a lot of forethought, I got my old "newly brazed" tanks back, applied a light dusting of tremclad, hucked them on, and AWAY I RODE !!!
....I am obliged for the proliferation of the cell phone device, as this picture is the tank draining process that was being observed by many passers by, thanks to my Girl driving over with the mighty fuel storage device, after I called her to rescue me on the side of the road, where I stood waving at those who honked an waved at the ugly fat man, who kinda looks like a magician or a hypnotist, who's crotch was so obviously SOAKED in gasoline..
....94 octane.
...no ethanol.
....my first public experience with "ED".

..well, new er tanks are back on again, till the old ones get more brazing done. ...and maybe a pressure test..
not enjoying them, as I'm thinkin they were from around the time of one of Harley Davidsons anniversary's when they did gold accents on wheels and tank badges ( just the "look" of gold ), and the tank badges were longer.
...I only got one badge with these here tanks.
...dang.
..the old badges just don't quite cut it.
...I guess sometimes "size" matters.
