Looking good , I have long cables on the 750 starters, don't know if they can be pulled out or disconnected?  They may be just a tad shorter as they are behind the  cylinder . .?

The starters on the 750 and 450 are shorter, as the starters are behind the engine....likely about a foot.  I'll wait on the one from Georgia.   Dang Christmas shipping.

Yeah I sorta meant rob the cable , or splice it . They do go in near sprocket,  come out to around outer edge of motor then back almost to middle of the motor

Yesterday, sandblasted the body parts and frame of my 1964 CB77 Super Hawk project. Enjoyable work at the do it yourself blaster shop. $1.17 a minute and well worth it. Cliff

Yesterday, sandblasted the body parts and frame of my 1964 CB77 Super Hawk project. Enjoyable work at the do it yourself blaster shop. $1.17 a minute and well worth it. Cliff




  There is a place in Langley, on the bypass, that rents, their high quality blasters. I use their walnut shell blasters, magnificent job!

Hello Boys,

Sorry to have been gone from the site for so long.  We were living in Golden for about 5 years, and moved down to Langford at the beginning of December.  I’m looking forward to the longer riding season.

My son is doing up a 1982 Yamaha XT550 that he just bought.  Does anyone have a lead on a good fuel tank for it?

I have been working on another dirt bike project, a 78 Suzuki RM400. The brake pedal tip was broken of so I buggered around and built a new one.
