Wow, what a day for a ride!  Lobo and I escaped the city and headed for the back roads of Maple ridge, including a couple requisite coffee and pub lunch stops, and an emergency helmet fix at Alouette lake.

No pics but my wife and I took a run from West Kelowna to Penticton today.  Had a late lunch and ran back towards home. 
Yea....it sure is cooler out there. Really appreciated the protection the Concours fairing provides.

Missed coffee this morning however June noted how warm it was here today and ran up to the insurance agency to get another sticker for her Honda ( expired yesterday)   Moto Lobo happened to come by while June was at ICBC and we all took off to Mission for lunch.    No pictures unfortunately however it was so warm we took the back roads home which are normally cold with the shaded forest.

Signed off on the 2017 riding season today.
Pic taken in West Kelowna with Okanagan Lake in the background.
Once home, Connie went down to the basement for the winter makeover.
Just maintenance stuff - valve adjustment, removing the highway footpegs that came with the bike (it's a sport tourer for god's sake), replace front brake pads, oil and filter and some cleaning.
Drained the old oil and pulled the filter while still hot.  The oil that came out was darker than kaw74's soul.
