The adjustment has helped, it is quite a bit more smooth as well. Nice to have the electrics tidied up a bit too. Grin

There's snow in them thar hills! Tried to check out a local lake to see if it had iced off yet. I couldn't get to it, so I'll guess it hasn't. Grin As mentioned in the other thread, I don't mind riding on my own out there, but I don't like to take unnecessary chances.



A squall passing by just missed me on the way back home. Cool

Glen and I went for a ride over Douglas Lake Rd yesterday and there was no snow to be found up there.

Now the snow line is back.

Henry and I had a nice 550km ride today to the Coalmont area. We managed to ride over Campbell Creek Rd shortly after it had been doused with some kind of calcium gype that made a heck of a mess. Will try to avoid that stuff in the future!

The Coalmont Hotel looks like a classic. The stories it could tell... I'm sure!


The Tulameen River is swollen, every river and creek in the Southern Interior is running quite hard with snow melt. As we passed a picnic area on Stump Lake we could only see the tops of the picnic tables.

Pretty nice to have as a back yard. Anyone heading out Renfrew way, the Tar Snake Enhancement Society has been hard at work, and while most of the sand is gone, there is still a bunch in some of the twisty bits near Shirley.

Henry and I did a loop ride from Chase to Falkland, down 97 to Salmon River Rd to Salmon Arm and back to Chase along Hwy 1. We stopped at the museum for lunch and talked with the owner, Mark. His CBX was parked just outside, by far the most interesting CBX I've seen. He claims it goes just as good as his former Ducati 916.  Cool
