Yes it will be closed as soon as the new road is done, they are currently putting a light in on the Sooke Rd at Dewdney Flats, just past Slegg Lumber,  and a second left turn lane on the highway, project completion summer 2017. With the construction on both the Sooke Rd and the highway more people take the Humpback route, particularly at quitting time.

Out tearing up the dirt.

Out behind Shawnigan Lake looking east towards the mainland.

Lots of hunter out right now. Great day for dirt riding, a little wet on the way home but I'm supposed to get wet aren't I?  Grin

The more I keep riding up in those hills the more I keep thinking of getting a fishing rod. There's lots of trout up in some of those lakes or reservoirs. The only practical problem would be how to get the fish back.

Nice shots, makes me want to get out before the snow flies which may be soon the way the temp has dropped in the last few days. I knew you would enjoy that bike, one of the most versatile style of bikes around.

Short spin today around West Kelowna.  Took the bike to the car wash got all the grunge and bugs off from this year.
Was warmer than I expected actually.
No pics...you'll have to take my word I was out. Grin

Went to Vernon and back on Westside road.  Sunny and 11 celcius.  A little on the cool side, but what a perfect run. Smiley  Not much car traffic but still quite a few bikes out there.
No pics but a perfect day.

Did a run from Kamloops, over thru Falkland then up the Salmon River Road for lunch in Salmon Arm.  Home via #1 thru Chase. Traffic fairly light, and saw temperatures from 9.5 to 17 C in the sunshine.  Salmon River Road is getting quite rough in some areas.  We also saw numerous wet shaded areas, and a number of gravel strewn corners.  Can you say "TIPPY TOE?"  Saw a couple dozen other bikes on the road enjoying some final rides before that nasty winter weather closes us down.

This site is for those who enjoy classic bikes!!!  Actually owning or using is secondary......think of fans of celebrities: they are not required to have congress with those celebrities to remain a fan Shocked

Yes, enjoying doesn't always mean riding.

Sometimes enjoying is looking at it in the garage, remembering that one time when it ran enough to go around the block once. Almost.

Enjoying can be that anticipation of finally receiving a reply e-mail from Italy that will only take two months to get because the entire factory went on a month long holiday.
