Just spoke with my wife as I took off Sunday afternoon and she says that we had two of the glass panels in our deck railing forced out by the wind. Must have been some wind as she says the gusts got up to 70-80 kmH.

Yes it was wild , a few shingles were blown off in Kamloops . I have a project  in the back yard with a tarp on it . The tarp came loose in the storm and put a real beating on the poor thing !

Billy, looks like a good retirement business.......seriously, if the business came with the property, run......I've seen more than one person, who bought a nice former fuel station location, get stuck with huge costs for remediation......heartbreaking....

Thanks , that is good advice . It would be a mess under the ground for sure .

How did you like the grub there Claudio? Maybe next time I'll dust off one of my bikes and join you guys. I was Delbert Domestic today...  Grin

I thought it was quite good, and reasonably priced.  I'm hamburgered (I don't think that's an official word) out!!  Had friends over last night and dinner was burgers on the BBQ!
I can almost feel my arteries plugging up. Shocked
Would have been good to have you there as well.  Next ride for sure.
You figure you scored some brownie points with someone important with your domestic duty accomplishments today? Grin

I had an uncontrollable urge to take the ELR for a ride today... I think the devil made me do it! Shocked

Indeed, I rolled six sixes on this ride

I did a 200km loop ride via Falkland and Salmon River Road. As I passed Monte Lake I noticed this 57 Chevy looking thing in the water.

I believe that chevy-looking-boat is a Razorback from the 1960's

We have one in inventory, red and white, available for purchase. It's even got a matching 50 horse Evinrude out back.

You should have dropped by if you were in the neighborhood Glen. Hopefully healthy enough to ride by the weekend.

Took your advice and went for a ride on "Old Blue".  Lovely day, except for the almost ever-present wind.  Rode WAY up Rose Hill Road into the nosebleed section.  These "Large properties" all have spectacular views of the valley below.  In compensation for living on here on the flat lands near the airport, I get a LOT less snow/winter/low temperatures. On the way down, I was noticing the number of big SUV's in their drive ways, BMW's, Mercedes, etc.  An Aston Martin Coupe passed me in his way 'home'.  Now I know how (and where) the other half lives.  I then rode out onto the Barhartvale road with a stop to show Henry he's not the only one who can take a picture of his "OLD" bike near and "OLD" building.  Last stop before returning home was the EaglePoint golf resort, just one of the many golf courses in the area.
Nice way to waste a few hours in the afternoon.
