Been raining pretty much all July.... Finally got a few days of sun.

Well... Not going that way...

The gate is open... Been closed since the floods of '13. But this tires just a bit smooth for the dirt.

Finished swapping out the starter on "Old Blue" so I took her for a shake-Down cruise out to the airport.  Hope to see a lot of you at Vintage in the Valley.

Both pics are from the Naramata side of Lake Okanagan, looking across the waters towards Summerland.
One can barely make out the sailboat sails in the distant background in the second image.

Glad you're enjoying that new ride Henry.

Are you bringing it to the VIV show?

No because we  would be doing 140 on the Coq and my neck will not handle the wind pleasure without some kind of wind screen.

She is a fun bike to ride and still needs to be broke in so I have kept her under 8000RPM Grin

I love the look of that bike Henry.

Saw a green stocker today turning onto Salmon Valley Rd from Salmon arm, Lady on a Harley behind him. Thought it might have been "Evil"?

I did West side road today for the first time and got my first speeding ticket since 02................Grrr

Sure am glad you are enjoying that bike Henry. Huge nostalgia numbers there.

I know what you mean about the wind being hard on the neck. I stopped counting whiplash episodes and concussions years ago but the reality is keeping a helmet facing the wind leaves me pretty much beyond an Exedrin pain for a coupe days after any longer ride.

Still grin like a fool while riding though - fairing or not.
