How was the tall screen?
No more buffeting and it feels about the same as the concours for protection .

For shorter trips I will put the smaller one back on.

It looks tall in the pic but I can just see over it if I sit up a bit Grin

Left fairly early this morning on the Tiller to take advantage of the, er, ah, what's it called again? Oh yeah, the sun!  Cool

Later this afternoon, I popped by Island BMW (where I ran into Trevor) and took this out for a rip...

...  what a frantic, insane, hysterical machine! The Arrow pipe screaming at redline, banging up gears through the quickshifter, grabbing a handful of ABS when I spotted a cop... MANIC! I'm too old for this kind of lunacy... best to stick with my dinosaurs.  Undecided

. . about +5 and there is snow along the hwy . . .
. . but I have a wind screen now . . . ha ha good for protecting the chest and torso

How many cc's is that Doc?...is that Tired with you?

Yeup . . . that is My Bother cuzzin's Bike . . . he has done a lot ov work to it that he keeps Thankin' me for . . . ha ha
It is all period correct.
He has put a foot clutch on it (I may have influenced that a little)
Frame mount shifter which was an option for Police bikes till maybe '78 ? ?
He just scored a Wa. DC police Knob for the shifter . . . it is very cool.
He is TOTALY going with the Police Bike look this year.
I said he needs a Billy club scabbard . . . a Non-functional red dome rotator . . . which our MOT friend say=s is legal if it don't work . . .
. . . to which I said he just needs a hidden switch . . . ha ha
also I think he needs a R.E.A.L. . S.L.O.W to start sireeeeen . . . one that goes on and on as it winds down.
Ehh well see.

Mine is the 1981 XV920 . . the only year in North America with the same engine but not a Virago.
in 1982 they switched to a shaft drive at which point it became a Virago
Euro and Auz it was a TR1 (981cc)
it was virtually the same . . . 'cept
it had nicer horns . . . Round Mirrors . . . and a mid seat. Passenger hold on strap . . .
. . . oh and wouldn't you know it . . . the euro and auz TR1 came with the upgraded starter that cam out in 1984 but only on the 1000 and not the 750 in America,
and followed through the rest ov the years
