Ha ha! You coast guys have a reputation for having a tough time in the snow! Grin Glad there was no damage to you, and I admire your attitude! Cool

Hey Glenn, that must be why the Ontario guy was the only one not to go down today. Lol
What a blast! Can't wait to get out again. Smiley

How do those 3 generations of DR compare?  I had a 93/96 and have 02 now.

Well I know one thing...we all had the same amount of fun. Lol
But really the 96 has a lot going for it.. Electric start being a biggie!!
It's lower to the ground and better for the crap we ride thru today. But Rob and l's bikes have bigger tanks, which is good. Of course you can buy bigger tanks. For me I like the look of the older DR's better... I can make believe I'm in the Paris/Dakar. Lol...
Plus it's what I could afford. No regrets so far. Smiley

I rode up to Shawingan Lake today... where it had snowed. I'm an idiot....

Back to greener pastures... The Highlands! It sometimes snows up there too...

... but not today.  Grin

Wrong.... Grin

I have had a bad cold for the last 6 days and didn't get to take advantage of the nice weekend for riding. Later today the sun partially came out and the roads were dry, I was itching to get out, cold be damn, on the DR to try out the new tires...Really loving this bike.

No, I resisted...lol

Its way more fun having a dual sport then just street riding IMO.

Love my Versys Trevor and it will be interesting going on a 6000km ride this June on it. Shocked
