Yes the two Harleys that the faithful rejected.  I mused to Chris that they have some similarities even though about 30 years apart. I have a couple pictures to share also.

No lawn this year Frank.   The GVRD f'd up their predictions again this year and said there was no water in the city because the modern dams they built in 1959 just are not giving us a good bang for the buck these days and no use building any new ones when we can P's the money away on lawyers and inquiries and making sure the Native Chiefs are supplied with the proper caviar each night for themselvles.
Welcome to the lower mainland.

We will try and plant some grass again next year but our government knows green and our lawns it is not.

I would love to have no lawn..
I would like just a desert dirt , if no weeds would grow..or raked sand..
Lawns are just a make work...water sucking deal..

I'm in the process of killing my lawn weeds so that I can have a nice big evergreen shrub garden.

Less time mowing, more time riding.

Riding in December... In Alberta... You wet coast guys aren't going to hog all the fun!

Firstly, bought and installed a plow for one of the quads... Need to get out of the garage after all...

The view from inside Starbucks

Sunny day!

Looking northwest. Not a bad Chinook arch, but since the GF doesn't have a migraine it's not a very strong Chinook.

The alleyways are always last to melt.

Good thing you got that plow for the quad, Ryan, that driveway must take almost a whole minute to clear of snow... Grin

At least you are not afraid of the white stuff, ride on while you can....

The problem is, the alley is angled so all the water drains to the middle. Being on the corner means I don't have to push the bike too far but what was there was packed and slippery and slushy and ugly...

If I keep the exit path clear I should be able to get out there again many more times this winter. The roads clear and dry off within a few days... The packed alley can take weeks!

Which town were you visiting ?
Sounds, I mean looks like you will be hearing sawing and hammering around the house for another year yet.

Exit path Hey hey Grin.. I am second house from the corner, and I always had a path cleared to the usually less slippery street..

Went to the Starbucks in Cochrane, then down 22 to the Trans Canada (where the two pics were snapped).  Then 1 through Calgary and up 2 to Airdrie. A little over 120km round trip.

They only seem to be building a few houses at a time but I don't hear them from inside and they don't work in the dark either. So they don't start until 8 and are all gone by 4.
