Went up to Lake Cowichan to Gordon Bay Provincial campground. My wife and son drove up Sunday morning and I took the long way up via Port Renfrew on the beemer, had to break in the new shoes I put on it Saturday.

Boy way it smokey up there. Forest fire near Port Alberni is making the sky look like the end of the world is coming Shocked

Fire ban but the park was renting these little beauties out...not a bad.

Ash the next morning on my bike. Shocked

Yeah they work great Henry, you get lots of warmth from them and you can still do smores on them.  Smiley
I hope your buddy did well on that idea.

I have not seen him for a while but ideas like that gets taken by some big company and changed a bit and then made in CHINA .

He made them in Kelowna so its hard to compete when they are made over seas.

Very little is made here and its to bad. Death by China is a documentary that should be watched.

Henry and I went for a 160km loop ride today from Chase to Sun Peaks to Adams Lake and back to Chase.

McGillivray Lake

On the way to McGillivray Lake we saw this tree on the side of the road that is covered with shoes. My guess is that is why this area is called the Shoe-swap. Roll Eyes

Left Shuswap last weekend on my xs650 and the wife on her '13 Triumph spent all week roaming camping exploring back roads instead of highways between towns. We hit kamloops, Merritt , Princeton, Osooyoos, Penticton, Greenwood, Christina lake, Nelway, Grand Forks, Rossland, Trail, Creston, Kaslo, Revelstoke n back home. Had a hell of a time!

Took our little girl up to Cobble Hill in the sidecar outfit to see her Mommy ride in the Female Ride Day today.

It was her first solo ride in the car! Thought I'd give her a chance to prove that she wouldn't jump out on the highway since she's three now. She was awesome. Smiley

PS: Saw you again, Trevor. Are you stalking me?  Evil
