Seeing that it is Easter weekend, I'd say you went to the River Jordan! Grin

June and I took a little run to Squamish and back today. On the way back June said should we top off our fuel in Squamish.  Me being the wiser one said lets wait until Horsehoe Bay or West Vancouver as my bladder would need relief by then and we can make it a one stop return home.  I ran on reserve just before Horsehoe bay ( maybe it was closer to Squamish) Like strangers in our own town we toured through Horseshoe by thinking there may be fuel there,  nope just tourists and coffee and ice cream shops and noisy kids running around.  I suggested we take the old Marine drive back to West Vancouver as the bike could just idle along in 4th or 5th gear and not waste any fuel and we should be fine.   Somehow we got dizzy on the roundabout and ended up out in Whytcliff park.  Needless to say bikes don't run on air alone so that was it.   I took Junes bike ( which was now almost empty) into West Van and the Petro Canada fellas had a whole pile of new Gerry cans but would not let me borrow, or rent one so I purchased one and fueled the Honda and the can.  Hence the pictures taken by June in between her giggles;  me and my new Gerry can to add to my collection of gas related objects at home. I twisted my mirror off its stalk and as the pictures indicate the now empty can fit on the mirror stalk real fine and put the mirror back on.   If you guys want to get noticed on your bikes try this,  everyone sees you and some seem stunned.  I am thinking about going back to West Van and mortgaging a second Gerry can for the other mirror now that I feel safety conscious.   Clutch cable broke in Coquitlam on the way home so now have some more play time in the garage putting in the new clutch cable tonight.  Pictures next

John, the engine on that bike is so well polished, that one can hardly notice the gas can.

One of the complaints about the Z1R was the small coffin fuel tank. You're a little bit older too John, I think your bladder capacity now matches the Z1R's capacity! Grin

Yes Glenn,  almost don't need reserve any more on the bikes.    When the bladder is full its time to fuel up.     That plan normally works fine.
