Yesterday in Kamloops, the roads were wet, with the temperature hovering a degree or two either side of freezing.  I saw a local nut-bar out on his 650 Silver Burgman Super Scooter.  This guy rides pretty well year round.  He has a blue 400 Burgman that he uses when the weather is REALLY nasty and saves the bigger one for only mildly nasty weather.  Some people just don't know when to give it a rest.  My machines are ALL in hibernation mode until spring. Probably on the road again in March, weather permitting.  At my age, discretion is the better part of valour.  I have nothing left to prove about my riding abilities, or survival instincts.  I hope to make it down to the bike Show in January out at the Tradex.

My wife and i decided to take advantage of the nice weather and ride up the Malahat for lunch in Mill Bay. Then we decided to do something we have not done in a while...take the Mill Bay ferry back to Brentwood. We only live ten min. from there. What a day!!
