Love those sculls (sarcasm) That's probably going to cost him,my neighbor bent his front fender on his Harley and an unpainted replacement is $500.00. My comment to him was, do you know how many project bikes I've bought for less that that?
When I was on the coast there was a couple of places that cornered the market on parts for two brands, one was Fred Deeley (Harley) and the other was the British Motorcycle shop on Fraser st.(Triumph)  I'll never forget how high their prices were because they had no competition.

Just curious here but I bet you could also buy project bikes for the price of a fender for a Concours, Rocket#, Beemer..

IK got a Rocket 3 one sitting here, bet its a lot higher than that, so is Beemer... If you want to look at non OEM vintage fenders for HD they will be a lot cheaper than 500..

I'm just telling what he said,I don't really care the prices of other fenders, the FACT is Harley and British parts are more money than Jap parts, I don't really care if its 10% or 50% they're still more money.
Thanks for bringing that additional fact to my attention, Frank I forgot all about British parts being more as well.

The Concours, is it a plastic fender.. it seems very cheap if it is a metal fender (harder to make)..

You brought it up, and I got the impression that you are slamming a certain brand.
The point I am making, is : OEM fenders, made of steel are not Cheap.. Most OEM parts are not cheap.. Plastic fenders however, can be produced cheaper than a lot of steel ones.

This Is the internet, bring up a subject.. you may get comments..

I have seen a lot of good pictures on this site, but lately all I have seen is a lot of bull about things that only a very few seem to care about, this site is hardly worth clicking on.
