Glenn and I met over at Sheldon's house for a little ride. Took the scenic route around Dallas Rd. through Uplands (where all the rich people live Angry) then stopped at Gyro beach for these pics. Then went to the top of Mt. Doug. Great meeting you Sheldon, I'm sure today is the start of a lot of good times on the bikes. I would say "let the good times roll" but no Hondas. Smiley

REALLY enjoyed myself guys. Looking forward to more outings.

I took the bike out for a good rip Trevor after we went our separate ways. Bike was hanging up at 8k when I came onto it and a bit hesitant. I didn't put stabilizer in the gas before I drained the carbs like I always do, so a bit must have got trapped in the jets and was gumming up. After a hard run she's all good now.

My wife got a kick out of the pics Smiley

Oh I forgot to tell you Glenn. When we rode past that group of cyclists I overheard one of them saying "Look at those 2 classic Kawasaki's"

Thought it was pretty cool...... Cool

I must say the butterflies are driving me crazy! 44 and I still get nervous when I start a new job, what a sook....

Was going to take the bike but looks like rain. Public transit it is. One of my least favorite things, riding the bus..

I was going to make a Suzuki crack, but didn't.  Grin

I will say they were eying our bikes pretty hard! Either they appreciates the classics, or wish they had of been on them because the hill they were pedaling up looked like a real  b***h!

New job went well today, feel it's going to be a great fit all the way around.

I'm always up for a run guys, anytime! I'm off work everyday at 3, and off all day tomorrow.

Just give me a days notice and if I can make it, you know I'll be going!

Fellow members Glenn, Rob and I got out for a good ride out to Metchosin out the back way to Sooke. Saw fellow members Greg and Sheldon coming out of Sooke as we were going in. How was your day guys? Saw lots of bikes out today. I think spring is here. Smiley

I got off work at 3, met Greg out his way. He took me on some really nice, twisty roads that weren't all beat to poop!

We then went to My Chosen Cafe for a bite to eat.

Was a good run!

We passed you guys, and I say to Greg "Man, I'm pretty sure that was Glenn on his ELR". "Yeah, and Trevor and Rob were with him as well".

Guess I"m color blind!

I'm off Tomorrow and Tuesday, we should try to get out for a rip.

Sean, I'm assuming that is your '81 with the little screen on it.....I'm thinking about something like that for my 850.

Can you post a few photos of the screen so I can see what you changed from the stock after-market item?

Oh, and a big welcome to the club.....boy, you Island folks are really becoming a gang in your own rights....... Grin
