I was going to mention that you should clean it, I think I saw ONE speck of grime on the rear sprocket.   That thing is MINT.

Haha, thanks... I was able to ride my bike everyday for work this week, about 200 or so kms all together. Got some grime on it and I am not sure what they put on the roads but it looks like some kind of liquid salt, it shows up as wet lines on the road. I'm sure that can't be good for the bike? Smiley

Hi Trevor, I've been watching the city trucks dump that brine concoction on the roads for the past several weeks. A beautiful sunny day and you're riding on wet salty roads! Yesterday when I rode to work it was -3C and they had salt dumped all the way up Foul Bay Rd. Can't wait for a good dump of rain to rinse that crap away!

That stuff is quite slippery when it is first put down, be careful.. can break loose or lock up wheel easily.. Probably corrosive, but not as bad as salt.
Hate to say it but unless you wash your bike almost daily, the salt will probably hurt it...
