I did the Kamloops /Cache Creek/Lillouett/Lytton/Cache Creek and home on Sunday. Nice weather and temp, nice pavement these days going to Lytton also. Stopped at Fort Berens Winery for the wife's vice. Nice place and nice meals too.

Spotted one of these heading down the road in Squamish yesterday. Looks like the love child of a GoldWing and a Scooter. Never seen one before - took a while on Google to figure out what it was:

Honda pushes the envelope.
Would I want one? No.
Respect for the company though, not just pumping out retro.

Cool that they're making it. I thought it was just a concept bike.

Is that a long wheelbase, an illusion with a 23" seat height?

I serviced a couple of them at Action while I was there. Twist-n-go throttle like a scooter, very reclined riding position... not for me, but I can sort of see the appeal on a cosplay level.

Nice: that R75/7 with the bicycle rack is my bike! I was over racing the Masters National Road Championships.

A couple more views of the rack (a work in progress I've been tinkering with).

The Giant (brand bicycle) weighs 19lbs (which is quite heavy for a race bicycle—mine are usually 15–16lbs, but this is an aero version, etc etc). So the leverage off the back, and on the Krauser rack and the rack I made, is fairly minimal even when hitting big bumps. There is more leverage than I expected laterally, though, when crosswinds and gusts come from the side, particularly because of the deep aero wheels on the bicycle. Nothing crazy that has caught me off guard yet, but if I was on a long trip I'd avoid particularly gusty sections of road or wait out a wind storm. I made a previous rack for my mountain bike mounted on an '82 CM400 that positioned the bicycle off to the side and lower and, with the shallow wheels of the mountain bike, was much less noticeable in the crosswinds.
