Geez Dave, that's got to be a pretty good feeling for you to be able to say that with all the bikes you've owned over the years. Right on!   so.....    how much money have you spent on new BMW gear???   Grin

"What is zero?, Alex."

Hoping that I can post this without MJ getting too pouty,

Hey, I was the guy that stuck up for you when other people didn’t like it for whatever reason.
The bike’s ok not that my opinion matters, and will make a nice low mileage score for someone with similar taste.

This is why you're one of my favourite people here, Mark. Great sense of humour, no snowflakery.    Wink

Well, i rode two bike today..
The first the Buell 1125 R. A lot more power  than I am used to, or anything I have been on in a long time.
The front brake is very strong and easy to use, and it needs it. Also a vacumn assisted clutch which feels a bit strange if you start it with clutch pulled in. Felt real funny in a 25 mph corner, but if course I am nitvused to a bike that handles.  Fun to ride though.
The second a Heritage Softail with a sidecar I just pulled off another and put on it. It pulls to the side, i have to play with the toe in a bit..
I think both bikes are the same year, but big differences.
Cool though never got over freezing but in the sun was nice.

Put some sandbags and the dog into the hack and see if it stills pulls to the side.

100? Or 100,000kms? You know that engine will probably outlive you? LOL. I give my similar engine little mercy, it doesn't care. A bit of advice,,,,do not breakin gently. Nikasil cylinder plating on BMW's is very hard, the rings need a considerable aggressive scrub in. And synthetic oil will not help this process.

100... only just had it delivered a couple of days before our move... then we moved.. and I've been hella busy ever since. Happy to take a break from the house and get out on a bike!

Appreciate the insight on the break-in... I was feeling a little guilty about the light flogging I gave her but now I don't have to!  Evil
