June and I did a small ride out to Mission and back yesterday on the Cafe Racer and the old Honda.   Must of fouled a plug on the Cafe Racer as June could smell the fumes and I had no power.   Opening the garage this morning it was like a petrol station so I guess one pipe collected the unburned gas.   Will find out tomorrow however it got us home without a trailer and I do like the reliability of the two little Sportsters here.

Try this with the garage door closed.
Replace the bad plug. Then remove point cover, make sure the points set is closed.  Now turn ignition on, open the   points with a small screwdriver..

Probably would have been quicker to take the Horseshoe Bay Ferry.

Getting across Lion's Gate is quite a feat around that time of day.  I've seen traffic backed up all the way along the off ramp for Taylor Way, resulting in a 90 minute delay to get onto the bridge.

June and I always take Tswassen now with the new connector.   We gain almost an hour in transit to the terminal which makes up for the lost time lazing on the boat ride.  Most of us know how crazy the ride from or to Horseshoe bay can be on a bike,  you can mind your own business and someone does a quick lane change into your lane,  very nerve wracking for both of us.  Horseshoe bay is now only reserved for us going to the Sunshine Coast and we hold our breath each time.

I think they should just shut the ferry service down entirely.

I didn't mind the ride from horseshoe to tswassen at rush hour....found it a challenge...I for sure like to be the aggressor...feel more in control...but when I got to the ferry I was wiped....takes a lot of concentration to ride through that crap.
