You're a braver man than I am Gungda Din !
10 am this morning, brilliant blue sunny sky, with wind chill, minus 18.  I think that first ride is a few days away yet.

No pics from me today [still can't figure out what I'm doing wrong on this forums' format with the pics] but got out on the R100GS this afternoon, mainly to test out my new jacket. With heated grips on high, Gears vest plugged in, full winter kit on, at -3C in North Surrey, it's not really what I'd call pleasant for a ride. Had to wash the bloody salt brine off the bike as well, freezing my hands.                          If i still didn't have to work, I'd be trailering a bike to Palm Springs right now.

Nice bike in bottom two pictures, don’t think I’ve seen that one if it’s yours.

Thanks, Yes mine, it's the first bike I bought in Sept 2011 after 27 years of not owning a bike. I bought it from the original owner with 28,000kms on it....now has 61,000kms....love this bike and don't see myself ever selling it. And my son really likes it too...first bike he was ever on... Smiley

That bike is in nice shape Trevor.

Looked at an 850 suzuki with my duaghters boyfriend yesterday and it was a pos and he wanted $2000 for it with over 111000k. Roll Eyes

I thought they were inexpensive at one time.

Poor mans bike no more Grin

Both the 850's and 1000 shaft drive early 80's Suzukis are great reliable bikes, "IF" you can find one that hasn't been molested. Always try to get the service records for any used bike. I've had a number of Suzukis from that era in various engine sizes and they were easy to work on, but rarely needed much more than routine maintenance.

I don't believe you guys...

Riding with Trevor and friends and not a single crash?

There should be a sucking chest wound in those pics from what I've heard about you guys.
