Canuclehead and I did the Lumby/Monnashee/Nakusp/Revelstoke loop today. A bit "greasy" at the higher Monashee elevations. 6 Celsius too.

 Went for a ride yesterday got a few miles out of town past the summit on Hwy 33.
 Then came back on 17 miles of dirt road, spoke of it very rough... shakedown run, tells you what is loose. My breadbox air filter fell Off,had to fix that.
 I guess it doesn't count with no pics but it felt good to ride somewhere.
 The Chambers truck that went on its side with 2 trailers was interesting, lots of cab damage... ouch..

Chips are heavy alright. The bigger chip scows we hauled were in the neighbourhood of 2500 tons each.

Ahhh, I still miss logging now and Then,  the dirt road I took yesterday.. I used to drive up every day to go to work at a little gypo mill we ran  near McCollough Lake.  One morning in June or July we had snow.

two stroke ride to BigTop saturday then the backway home through Harrison...finally nice new pavement over the mountain

I took the ELR-R out for the first time since 2016. I forgot how fun a bike with skinny tires, lousy brakes and 100+HP can be. It also reminded me of the legroom my Vstrom has...

I took Hyw 5 to Merritt, picked up Canucklehead, down to Spences Bridge for lunch, backtracked to Mamit lake road, Tunkwa lake road and home. Much needed NICE new pavement on Mamit and Tunkwa lake roads. Enjoy them if your in the area before they are ruined over the winter.

Ride out to Kelowna. Felt bad ringing it out at 7500 the entire time but it sure was fun. Kept a handle on the motor cuz It was chilly going up on the 3 in the evening.
