Porters is fine by me.
I know some were talking Mount Baker but I'm not up for that.

Bugger,

I'm on my way. There's a coffee shop just down the road in Murrayville we can try.

OK, so i'll put it out there, even if I don't go. I've no definite plans yet for Sunday. Forecast is smokin' hot.

I'm thinkin' a stroll up to Mt. Baker might be nice. Get out early before the traffic up the hill. Bring a thermos and have a coffee at the top. Back down before the line-up at the boarder gets long. Have lunch at maybe Bob's Burger in Sumas or head back to Canada first. Home by mid to late afternoon. There are other riding possibilities that can spin off from this plan.

Thoughts?

Cheers,
Ross

Wish I could join you. I've been hired to lead demo rides at the local Suzuki dealer all day, which should be interesting. At least I get to ride all of the machines they have.
Heads up at Baker, probably still snowed in at the top lookout, still a nice ride.

Yup, may still be snow at the very top. But Bob was up there two or three weeks ago. Road in excellent shape, no debris, although that last wind storm may have deposited some.

An excellent time for a great ride and stunning views.

Still not sure what I'm going to do tomorrow.

This is happening too:

From the chatter on facebook and from talking to the owner, it doesn't sound like a pirate parade either.

I am not at all into large group rides. Just not my thing.

Is anyone else interested in a ride to Mt. Baker?
