Yes, thank you Ross for having us over, very nice to see you and thank you to the coffee and treat suppliers. Regarding next weekend, I will post early about it; I propose the Wood N Frog Coffee Company in Tsawwassen, and then anyone who wants to can stop by and see my project progress.  Regards Rusty_bits

Hey guys,

It was my pleasure to have you all over for coffee. It's really no big deal, and I can host more often if you like.

Thanks very much to Peter and John for bringing coffee and muffins. It was a really good turnout, considering that many had Mother's Day commitments. It was nice to see Jen on her Shadow. Would be kinda nice to see more women in our club. I am seeing more women on motorbikes these days, but most that I see on older bikes are of the hipster variety and the bikes are butchered.

Anyway, it was awesome to see everyone. Thanks for all of your kind thoughts.

Cheers,
Ross

Too bad I missed the coffee and donuts on Sunday, but prior Mothers day commitments came first, sorry all. God to see you up and about there Ross, and don't sell the Z1 for now, you may regret it later. How was the traffic, Pattullo being closed down sure screws things up. John.

I had considered selling the Z1. Finances around here are going o get really tight as I won't return to work for many months. So I had a chat with my wife about it. She said "NO!! Don't sell it until you are sure you're done with riding. You'll regret it."  Exact words.

So there it is. Z1 is not for sale at this point. But I have sold the Triumph to be picked up on Friday. I'll take a bit of that money to get the Led Zed running. I'll hang onto it as long as I can. I'd take a huge loss if I sell it. I was hoping to get my money's worth from it by riding it as my main bike over the next few years.

It didn't make sense to keep three bikes in the garage when I won't be riding for quite some time. There is a fellow that was really interested to buy the Tiger before I left for New Zealand. So I contacted him last week, and now it's a done deal.

So that is the sad story of Ross's Tiger. I missed seeing you at coffee, John. But we'll get together some time.

Cheers,
Ross

Ross can I pick you up Sunday?

Thanks for the offer John, maybe next time. Bob is insistent that he will give me a lift. There is some thing you could possibly help with on the way home though.

I should have money in hand from the sale of the Tiger. Before I hand the cash over to Sandy to pay bills, I'll keep a couple hundred to get the Led Zed running. To that end, I need help from a couple of guys to take the motor out and onto the bench. It's not at all urgent, so if it doesn't happen right away it's no big deal. Anyway, we can chat on Sunday.

Cheers,
Ross

Okay no problem at all I can swing by Sunday after coffee and we can pull that motor out of the frame and set it so you can work on it.

See you Sunday
