I'll be staying on this side of the bridge.

Trying to get through sea-to-sky highway traffic on an afternoon isn't my idea of fun.

I'm checking out Squamish early Saturday. Back home before the heat wave, I'll be leaving Surrey before 9am. If it's a Harley love-in, a sweat iced coffee at Squambucks will be the reward.

Roy, nice to see another classic old bike show up, rather than the newer machines that seem to be the preferred mode of transportation these days. I'm still waiting for a certain someone to ride up on one of his old Guzzi's. No names, but he rides a yellow triumph. John.

Roy passed me after coffee going at a tremendous rate of speed on his project bike ( bout 45 miles per hour I figure)  I commented to Roy further down the road how nice it sounded and he said it is too loud and he would be seeking baffles.   I told Roy leave it alone it was a nice thumping sound and not disruptive at all.    Roy just remember it is not a sewing machine and nice to hear a tone from a Guzzi.    Good job of that bike Roy and that should give you lots of satisfaction.

Better have a picture

Still lots of work to do but I took it for an Italian tune-up, indicated the ton.

I haven't been on a decent ride since the May long weekend. Thinking of riding up to Mt. Baker Sunday morning. Leave the Starbucks on Sumas Way about 8:30. Pack a themos and snacks for the summit. Back down to Bob's for lunch. Home by mid afternoon.

It looks I will have to stay close by Sunday, it looks like June wants to dig up the yard and put a pond and stream in now that the grass doesnt grow worth a crap any more.
Better load up on back pills as I think this might hurt.   Free beverages for anyone that knows how to shovel dirt on Sunday and the next few weeks if they want to pop by and off me encouragement.
Likely still sneak out for coffee and or the Red Racer beforehand.
