I almost took the Skytrain (but please don't repeat that).  Cheesy

Did you get to play the skytrain games?

Ones like:

"Who forgot to shower this morning?"

"What the hell is in that bag?"

You forgot
"I do so need 3 seats"

"What's wrong with putting my muddy feet on the seat?"

And the perennial favourite:

"Who forgot their medication?"

Sure hope you guys are all well.  I wasn't feeling quite right at coffee on Sunday.  By afternoon I was feeling terrible.  By evening I was bed ridden and remained so until yesterday afternoon with awful cold/flu symptoms.  It's a nasty one.  Feeling much better today though.  Sure glad it's over, I'm off to Mexico on Monday.

Tremendous turnout on Sunday.  Where to this week?

We're going to Playa Del Carmen.  About an hour south of Cancun where you get the ferry to Cozumel.

Yes I know the place well and what a fun town.    You will have to rent some scooter in Cozumel and putz around the island.   We have fond memories of both places and I can tell you some stories next time I see you.

I believe that Wired Monk has closed its doors forever.

This is not correct, I just went there for coffee  Huh?

How about there for this Sunday?

My son and I had a competition with the scooters in Cozumel .... seeing who could get the most air off the speed bumps.

After ripping up my face trying to stunt on my Cimatti, i have a healthy respect for smaller bikes..was drunk ng thru straw, and on crutches the next day
I did a pretty impressive face plant..helmetless at about 25kmh, that makes me laugh every time I read, kid got hit by a car, his life was saved by his helmet..

Roy, it begs the question..... what did Stan say or do to them to tell him never to come back to their coffee shop ever.

Was he on his Harley that day?

John,
Now it all makes sense, he meant just permanently closed to him.

It's OK, he won't be there today, I think he is on holiday.

Perhaps we can plead for him to get back in  Huh?

Roy,  I saw that lady behind the coffee bar this morning and she looked pretty tough,  so I was afraid to ask her about Stan being banned for life from the Wired Monk.
She was likely 19 years old and weighed 120 lbs and seemed to like the group of us bikers gathered this morning.

I just didn 't have the guts to ask her about Stan.    We can always get a "coffee to go" for Stan and he can watch us through the window outside on future meetings until he can make peace with them.

I am wondering why our group and individuals are being banned from so many local establishment lately?   The Bird Sanctuary the park and a few others come to mind.

Time to build a clubhouse I think?
