Oh my!!  I have an idea for a new venue, actually it's Roy's idea. I'll check out the hours and post here in an hour or so.

Cheers,
Ross

OK, let's try this. " The Castle Neighbourhood Grill", 319 Govenors Crt., New Westminster. It's in the last remaining old Pen site building. Nestled in a residential area. Opens at 8:00. The girl at the counter said she'd same aside a table for 16.

Cheers,
Ross

It'll be nice there in the summer, they have a nice patio.

Been there when it was the Pen Cafe.

Good eats and neat atmosphere.

Good turnout for coffee today and the new venue in New West.    Lots of room for the group and tons of available parking for bikes.  Will be a nice place in the Summer

Thanks Galactica for finding this place, it's a winner.
And a heart felt "THANK YOU" to all who contributed to the BCCMC banner fund.
The best part of this mornings get together was having Garth with us again... we all missed you Buddy! Smiley Smiley

I an only take credit for posting the venue. It was actually Roy's idea, just happened sooner than he expected. He thought of it a couple of weeks ago when we were there for lunch. Worked out well. There were 21 of us.

Cheers,
Ross

I agree Stan,  I was born and raised only a few miles from this place. Roy lives within eyesight, Ross is a mile away, Bob is from my neighbourhood and Rob is just up the hill.   Very familiar area for several of us that were born and raised on the Coquitlam New West area.    Remember when the Pen and Woodlands dominated the view on that stretch and there was nothing else.
Very nice to see a great community develop around troubled waters.
I was surprised and enlightened today.

The only downside for me, I didn't get to ride Huh?
It was closer to walk.

Did you get to play the skytrain games?

Ones like:

"Who forgot to shower this morning?"

"What the hell is in that bag?"

And the perennial favourite:

"Who forgot their medication?"
